Knowing the meanings of these words would be the best way to start writing your short story. Then, consider what these words may have in common -- what do they connect to? What do the words "ambush," "abduct," and "brawl" remind you of? What about the words "anguish," "apathy," and "antagonism"? Asking yourself such questions may lead you to an interesting idea for your short story.
After, you could write sentences using these words separately. Then, add dialogue, details, etc. in between to make the story flow.
