Is Aivas ever mentioned before it is discovered?

Is Aivas, the artificial intelligence discovered in the Pern books, ever mentioned in some of the prequels?I can't find any reference to it in books set before the time it was discovered, including in Dragonsdawn and the other early books.

Aivas is not mentioned in any of the Pern books set before its discovery in All the Weyrs of Pern.

Aivas, the artificial intelligence designed to help the colonists manage Pern, is first introduced in the timeline during the events of All the Weyrs of Pern, which is set well after the original colonists have settled and the Dragonriders are well-established. The prequels, like The Harper Hall Trilogy and Dragonsdawn, focus on colonization, early dragon breeding, and the initial challenges of settling Pern, long before Aivas is “activated.”

McCaffrey doesn’t drop any hints or mentions of Aivas in these early books—it is treated as a later discovery in Pern’s technological history. So it appears in the continuity only after the colonists have long forgotten much of their advanced tech, making its appearance in the timeline a significant rediscovery rather than something foreshadowed.
