A roll of insulation covers 100ft^2 of surface.  Polly is insulating the attic of her house which is 1,350ft^2. What is the least number of rolls Polly will need to buy to insulate her attic?

This is a simple division problem.  

 

1,350 ft²/(100 ft²/roll) = 13.5 rolls.  However, we need to round up as we'll have to buy full rolls, even if we only need half.  The answer would be 14 rolls of insulation.
