To answer this question, you have to first recognize that when dealing with negative numbers values become lower when moving away from zero on the number line. For example, -2 is lower than -1.
Armed with this knowledge, we can now answer your question. 3.6 less than -4.7 is -8.3 (you subtract 3.6 from -4.7). So, any number lower than -8.3 will be a valid answer. For example, -8.5 or -10 or -120...you get the idea.
