I want to know more about positive feedback in gene regulation and to know the similarity and differences between positive and negative feedbacks.

The similarity in both is going to be that protein binding is going to occur to send a signal. The difference is the type of protein and the location in which it binds. A repressive protein is going to bind at the operator site to prevent translation. That would be your negative feedback. For positive feedback, a transcription factor is required. This will bind at the promoter to signal for the initiation of transcription. I hope this helps.
