On a hot summer day, a thirsty bee feverishly searches for water and eventually finds a nearby river. Exhilarated, he settles on the calm surface of the water to remedy his thirst. All of a sudden, he feels a harsh wind pass through the air and a current of strong waves that start to rip through the surface of the water. The bee fearfully tries to escape the current but is nevertheless found washed away from the shore. The bee shrieks for help-desperate to reach a safe haven.
From a far away tree, a white, curious dove hears the cry of the bee and squints to find a bee struggling above water. Alarmed, the dove plucks off a green leaf from a branch and casts it towards the bee. However, before being able to reach the bee, the dove feels the presence of darts flying past her. To her surprise, the dove finds a hunter targeting her in the shadows.
The bee is also aware of this. Eager to return the dove's favor, the bee uses his strength to land on the leaf and fly back above the river. He quickly dodges the rapid arrows and eventually the bee stings the hunter. To his shock, the hunter misses the aim and collapses into agonizing pain.
In the end, the allies sigh in relief and the dove thanked the bee.
