Since it's given that it's an isosceles trapezoid, the diagonals are equal. Therefore, QS = PR
Since QS = 12
PR = 12
Because RT = PR - PT
RT = 12 -4.9
RT = 7.1
The internal angles of triangle QRS must add up to 180°
Since ∠Q = 70 and ∠S = 44,
∠ R = 180-70-44 = 66°
For a trapezoid, the top angles are equal and the bottom angles are equal
∠P = ∠Q and ∠S = ∠R
Since we know ∠R = 66° and we know from the diagram that ∠QSR = 44°.
∠QSP = ∠S - ∠QSR
∠QSP = 66-44
∠QSP = 22
∠QSP = ∠QPR = 22
For an isosceles trapezoid, the legs are equal. Therefore,
PS = QR = 9 cm
The internal angles of triangle RST must add up to 180°
Since we know from the diagram that ∠RST = 44°
and
Since we know from our earlier work that ∠SRT = 44°
∠STR = 180° - 44° - 44° = 92°
