Confused! Search function isn't working

I need a tutor close by....when I search it mostly shows me out of state tutors.

Hello, Theresa,

This probably means that there are not many tutors in your area. You may want to consider an online tutor.  I have done a lot of online work, and I think you may find that it is often superior to face to face tutoring.  I have two reasons that I think this about the Wyzant Online platform in particular.

First, you can download all the whiteboards that we work on during the lesson as a pdf, and then either store them or print them for your notes. 

Second, Wyzant makes it possible to video record the session, if you, the student, so choose.  These recordings are then available for you to view over again (and again) for 30 days.  This allows you to repeat difficult lessons and lectures as you need to.

I would be happy to give a short demo lesson so you can experience this wonderful tool.
