For homelessness, looking into the make-up of the homeless population, meaning what characteristics do you see commonly within the homeless population, barriers to gaining housing, prevalence of homelessness in various cities, and programs that are targeting the homeless problem in the US.

Eviction is a legal term, and when you don't pay your rent or your mortgage, you can be evicted. So why does that happen? Job loss and/or mortgage rates adjust to an unaffordable monthly amount. Lack of affordable housing causes rents to escalate if there is no rent control. The housing meltdown caused Southern California to be the foreclosure capital of the U.S. back in about 2006. You might want to watch the movie The Big Short to learn more about that complicated cause as told in an "entertaining" way. As for homelessness, young people are often kicked out of the family home at the age of 18 or even earlier, mental illness is a major cause because there are few resources, and tied that that is the travesty of many returning military who suffer unemployment along with PTSD. And don't forget that we have a government that doesn't do much about it either.
