From the problem above, we know that there are 10 periods per day and there are 5 days a week being considered. That means that there are 50 half hour periods per week. We also know that on Wednesday’s one hour or 2 half hour periods are allocated for mathematical literacy. So if we take our 2 periods that are used for mathematical literacy and divide by our total number of periods we get 2/50 which reduces to 1/25
Answer: 1/25
