Book recommendations for proofreaders?

I have just finished writing my thesis and would like to learn more about proof reading techniques. Is there any book that is recommended to begin proof-reading? I would like to learn it a systematic way, thanks.

"A Proofreading Companion: Tips, Tools & Strategies for the Professional Proofreader" is a short booklet (about a 20-minute read) on proofreading I published this year (2019). It's based on my more than 20 years of experience as a proofreader. I got my start at the Associated Press and moved onto mainstream media outlets like CNN and have worked as a reporter, editor and copy editor in McClatchy and Gannett newsrooms. Here, I give some tips on how to proofread your own work and how to be a proofreader for hire.
