Use "x" as a variable for the number we need to find
Therefore: 1.5x= (1/6)^2
taking the square of 1/6: 1.5x=1/36
Now convert 1.5 to a fraction: (3/2)x= 1/36
Multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 3/2 (2/3)(3/2)x = (1/36)(2/3)
This leaves just x of then left side: x = (1/36)(2/3)
Then multiply numerators and denominators of fractions on the right side: x= 2/108
Simplify the fraction by factoring out a 2: x= 1/54 (0.0185 in decimal form)
