I think your best bet would be to find or purchase a "style guide" or "style manual" from a respected British newspaper. Every newspaper has one since the style guides for things like headlines or articles vary from publication to publication. Simply put a Google search for "BBC style guide" or "BBC style manual" and see what you get!

Over 90% of English spelling is based on rules I can teach you.
I have looked at a few British style-guides online (focusing on those that are free!) and a good place to start might be the Guardian and Observer style guide at https://www.theguardian.com/info/series/guardian-and-observer-style-guide.
This is the best I could find online:

The Oxford English Dictionary is one of the best references for English rules for capitalization. It can be found online at : https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/spelling/using-capital-letters,
Orthography describes the spelling system of a language. "Hart's Rules" have been a reliable English reference for more thna a century.
