40 biscuits weighs x lb

25x = (3/4)(40)

25x = 30

x = 30/25 = 6/5 = 1.2 lb

Alternatively, 0.75/25 = 0.03 lbs is the weight of each biscuit.

So 40 of them weights 1.2 lbs

1.2 * 2.25 = $2.70
