Remember that the structure of a paragraph revolves around first the thesis statement, and then the claim/topic sentence. The claim/topic sentence should refer to the thesis statement content. The paragraph will develop the claim/topic sentence. A good structure to follow would be:
state your claim
explain what your claim means or give an example
provide reasoning for your claim statement - why is it true
provide evidence / support for your reasoning
explain your evidence / support and how is supports your claim
conclude or transition to next point
