Lets say you have a reference like this Henderson,J.(2015,April). How to climb a mountain. Mountain Magazine, 5(10), 110-112.

And you have to identify where it can be found and what the title is called. Would the where it came from be Mountain magazine with the volume, issue and pages or would you consider the where it came from just the magazine name?

Lets say there was another example like this Henderson,J.(2015,April). How to climb a mountain (22nd ed.). Toronto: Jeezy Books. Would you consider the edition as anything, for example would it be considered under the what the title is called or where it can be found or neither. And what would be the where it can be found of that example since there's only author year and publisher?

The first example is an article in a magazine. Yes, the page numbers, volume, etc. all matter. Think of it this way: If you wanted to find the article, what would you need? Just the name of the magazine would not be enough, because there are hundreds of issues of a magazine, and only one has the article you want.

The second example is a book. The edition is part of the title, because the 22nd edition is different from the 1st edition. Where it could be find would be, I would guess, a library.
