Each person has his or her own set of characteristics. The qualities, or traits, that make each person who they are. Characteristics show a person's speech, thought, effect on others, actions, or looks. A person can discover his/her traits by reflecting upon how one feels about different subjects and ideas such as current events, morals, and sense of community. One characteristic that comes to mind is teaching others to be genuine; true to themselves.

Character education is important to maintain the fabric of a society. This is accomplished by showing others that morals and ethics are vital. Knowing and being true to oneself helps in creating a sense of maturity, honesty, and reliability. These characteristics serve as a reminder that one needs to be understanding toward others to facilitate working and living peacefully in a society. Therefore, this quality best shows how to express oneself before speaking and in being honest without hurtful.

Moreover, living this example will encourage others to be genuine and honest. Promoting this trait within a community can be vital. Kindness and a willingness to take part in community/school activities helps develop a genuine feeling of teaching others to be who they really are. Also, education is the key to understanding oneself and the qualities of others. Most importantly, one has learned that it is of the utmost importance in learning specific characteristics that will have a positive role in life.
