s(t) = t2
s(2) = 22
In the next 1/100 th of a second, 2 + 0.01 = 2.01, the distance the object moves is:
s(2.01) - s(2) = (2.01)2 - 22 = ____?
Tyrone A.
asked 10/28/18An object moving on a number line as position s given by s=t^2 (where t is measured in seconds and s in feet). At time t=2, its velocity is 4 feet per second, as you can check .How far does it move during the next 1/100 of a second?
I am not sure how to solve this problem, any help would be truly appreciated!
