DNA Extraction From Strawberries

Question

My science fair project is "What Stage of Maturity do Strawberries Extract the Most DNA?" I did my project. I made a homemade extraction liquid out dish soap, isopropyl, and salt. My problem is, even though I conducted my experiment once the day I bought my strawberries, three days after, and finally a week after, I cannot tell the difference in the amount of DNA.

Why is that a problem? The conclusion from such an experiment with those findings would be that the age or storage time of the strawberries has no effect on the extraction of DNA. Is that a surprise?
