I assume you mean this in the context of the Shakespeare play, "Julius Caesar".  Antony read the will in public to the people during Caesar's funeral.  The will had generous gifts for the people of Rome.  Hearing about Caesar's generosity aroused the people to seek revenge against Caesar's assassins.
