How to find the length of a side of a triangle given one side and an angle

Opposite (C-A) = 12, we are given two angles Angle C = 62 and Angle B = 34, what is the value of x (the hypotenuse)

If AC = 12 (do NOT call it A-C), then that is the side opposite angle B.
You know all three angles (since two are given) and therefore you should proceed directly to use Law of Sines.
sin  B / AC = sin A / BC where A = 84 degrees and this enables you to find BC.
 
Thereafter, it's easy to find AB by another use of Law of Sines.
