Generally, the heat of reaction is given in various books and tables. If given, it will be based on 1 mole Mg reacting with 2 moles of HCl. You will have to make the necessary adjustments for the mole you use. Once you have that, you can use q = mCdeltaT and solve for delta T to get the change in temp.
