having problem with absorbance value crystal violet dye's solution

I'm getting problem in absorbance value of crystal violet dye of10,15,20,25 ppm as its reaching above 2.I have repeated this several times but problem is still there.So,kindly guide me about this.i b

Dilute the sample by a known factor, such as 1000:1 and test again. If still no good, dilute that sample again. Repeat until the problem is resolved. Alternatively, look up the extinction coefficient of the dye and use that value to determine the dilution factor.
