1. reaction of sulfur with chlorine = sulfur dichloride 2. sulfur dichloride with acetic acid

hi dear i am trying to make acetic anhydride as follows

1. reaction of sulfur with chlorine = sulfur dichloride

2. sulfur dichloride with acetic acid= acetyl chloride


3.acetyl chloride with sodium acetate= acetic anhudride



But the problem is reaction of acetic anhydride with water , it get dissolved in water instantly as its density is low i think but i am getting why?

please guide me dear
