Lipids can be found anywhere within the cell, but most prominently they appear in the membranes of the cell and cell organelles. They make up part of the so-called lipid bilayer of most membranes. So, you might find them in the membrane of the nucleus, and mitochondria, ER (endoplasmic reticulum), Golgi apparatus, lysosomes, vesicles, etc.
