Let x be the width of the rectangle , and  x+1 be the length of the rectangle where x+1 is the consecutive integer of x

 

The perimeter of the rectangle is  2x+2(x+1)=374 inches, expanding 2x + 2x + 2 = 374, 4x+2 = 374, 4x = 374-2,

 

4x = 372, x = 93 inches is the width, and the length is x+1 = 93 +1 = 94 inches
