As reported by Arturo, desublimation is one term often applied to the phase change from gas to solid without passing through the liquid phase.  The other term commonly used in chemistry is "DEPOSITION".  Both are correct.

I have seen the term desublimation defined as the phase transition from gas to solid, without going through an intermediate liquid phase.  (Sublimation is the phase transition from solid to gas without going through an intermediate liquid phase.)
