Why is Ionic Bonding stronger than Hydrogen Bonding?

Hydrogen Bonding is known to be stronger than Permanent Dipoles and Instantaneous Dipoles. However, Ionic Bonding is considerably stronger than Hydrogen Bonding. Why is this? What are the specific details?
