Is golden ratio real?

There are a lot of golden ratio going around us like the piramid, pepsi and apple logo , the licence card length , monariza and many more but is it real? There are a lot of discriptions and evidence about why the golden ratio cannot be submited in the situations and I heard that it is just a math put in by force. so my main question is this ' Is the smile on the monariza's face or the length of the piramid is a lie?' plz tell me the reasons!!!

As a classroom "experiment" I would have students measure: driver licenses, credit cards, 3 x 5 cards, 8 x 10 photos, 8.5 x 11 paper,  lap top screens, and lots of other things, leaves, fish, nuts, flowers.

Agreed that the claims are dubious. Both the Parthenon and the Great Pyramid (and other architecture - Notre Dame de Paris) contain measurements that are in the golden ratio. Without consulting the architect we cannot know which can first the plans or the ratios.
