Singular or plural?

Hello, I have a dispute over the proper use of the English language, and am hoping you can help. Before I ask, it might help to give a little background. Each year about 15 guys get together for a camping trip. The annual event has been titled the "Homie Camping Trip" ("Homie" being a slang term for a friend). Should it be named "Homie"? Or "Homies" (plural)? It has been stated that it is "Homie" because it is an adjective. Which way is correct and why? Thank you in advance for any help.

So which way is correct? Let's say it goes on a t-shirt for everyone to read. Does it still depend? Kind of confused.

What do you want it to mean?

Thank you for the replies. Arturo, if all the homies go on the same trip, is #3 sill legitimate?

#3 you wrote "the kind of camping" which seems to imply that it is more than just one event. Is that correct?

To clarify, the "event" is most important (and not the "kind of camping"). If that is the case, which option is correct?

Thanks but I found an English (not Physics) professor to give me one (yes, only one) answer.
