graphing linear equations

Question

graph the linear equation: 3x -y=3  I did the tbar for this one and came up with x-(1,0) (-1,-6) (2,3) I plotted a straight line,so it appears ok?

The other one was: 2x+3y=12 I did the slope intercept formula on this one: 3y=-2x+12 then I divided by 3,got y=-2/3x +4...when you graph it you would graph (0,4) then down 2,over 3 to right?

Karen,

         Yes starting with the y intercept (0,4) and then down 2 and 3 to the right that will bring you to the point (3,2). If you connect those two points you will have a graph of the line y=(-2/3)x + 4.
