In your opinion, how important is a first impression in personal life?

In your opinion, how important is a first impression in personal life? At work? Can a bad first impression always be overcome? When are first impressions the most important?

I believe a first impression is extremely important both in personal life and in work. There are some cases where you might be able to overcome a bad first impression but I am inclined to say that normally you can not.  And in answer to your last question, I think they are always important.
