If f(x) = (x-1)2, show that f(p+a) = f(1-p)
Please show me how to solve a problem as such, thank you!

f(p+a) = (p+a-1)2
f(1-p) = (1-p-1)2 = p2
So unless a= 1, your statement cannot be true.
