I'm supposed to write a Chreia explaining my quote, but I just can't think of another way to say this in a clearer, more concise way.  Thank you very much, in advance, for your help.

It is understandable for a child to be afraid of that which is unknown and that he/she cannot see. It is unfortunate that adults fear that which is right before their eyes.
