Mark, how dare you try to blame us for being enslaved and mistreated by AmeriKKKA!  

 

Yes, slavery was practiced throughout the world before those devils from Europe enslaved my ancestors but it was in no way on a massive scale like that your ancestors did to mine. Also, it was not based on race. It was based on different tribes.   Slavery is very bad and the Europeans destroyed a people and became rich.  MY ancestors LITERALLY built this country, the USA, by means of forced free labor. This has paved the way for wealth to the whites from the beginning of this racist country's existence.   Now we have i-Pads, fancy iPhones, born rich land-owners and the likes.

To answer this question, you need to research the origin of slavery.  Why did slavery exist?  Did people of same ethnic background or different ethnic backgrounds enslave each other?  What are effects of slavery in modern time? Use the answers to these questions to form your own hypothesis.

 

Consider slavery in Ancient Egypt and in the United States during colonial times.
