The area of a triangle is given by the equation Area = 1/2 * base * height.
If we know the area, and we know the base, the equation becomes this:
24 = 1/2 * 6 * h
24 = 3 * h
24 / 3 = h
8 = h
Therefore, the height is 8 cm.
