sin4θ-cos4θ is the difference of two squares =(sin2θ-cos2θ)(sin2θ+cos2θ)=(sin2θ-cos2θ)1
sin2θ-cos2θ=1-cos2θ-cos2θ = 1 - 2cos2θ
