Down curl genotypes are DD or Dd

Up curl genotype being recessive is dd

 

Parents: Down curled male  (DD) x Up curl female (dd)

 

F1 Genotype : Dd

F1 Phenotype: male and female Up curl

 

F2 Genotypes : DD:Dd:dd in 1:2:1 ratio.  That is 200 with DD, 400 Dd, 200 dd.

F2 Phenotype: All 800 F2 offspring, males and females, down curl since F1 females genotype was Dd.
