Hi there. The key here is to find the pronouns and make sure they match. So for instance, in number 1, the pronouns are "those" and "he". Do they match? Those is plural and has no gender. He is singular and male. They do not match. It should be, "Those who saw the play told us THEY were impressed" (pronoun agreement also ends up changing the verb).
Remember, a pronoun replaces a noun. Good luck!

You are welcome! Another thing to consider: when the noun being replaced is a group, such as a company or a band (question 9), that entity can be referred to as "its" with no gender and is commonly referred to that way.
