asked 05/05/15I need to write an essay, please help
I need to include these 10 vocabulary words and create a unique 1 page single spaced essay to include them in. I also need to be able to show enough detail to show the meaning of the word(s).
Can anyone help me write an essay using these words?
Paramount-of chief concern or importance
erudite-characterized by great knowledge; learned or scholarly
deleterious-having a harmful effect; injurious
benign-kind and gentle; good-natured
dubious-doubtful; of unlikely authenticity
whimsical-subject to erratic behavior; unpredictable
furtive-characterized by stealth; sneaky
pristine-not spoiled; pure
cryptic-puzzling
ambivalent-simultaneously feeling opposing feelings, such as love and hate

These are all adjectives, so they are words describing nouns. The fastest way to come up with something might be to bundle the adjectives, for example:
Group 1 -- deleterious, paramount, benign, pristine
Group 2 -- erudite, dubious, whimsical
Group 3 -- furtive, cryptic, ambivalent
This is only a brief essay, so it must be something clear and rather simple to be finished in a single page. You say the assignment is an essay, not a story, so I'm guessing it's a non-fiction assignment. Do the words suggest anything to you? For instance, you could talk about an issue in the news, such as fracking. Some people are concerned that fracking could be deleterious to the environment, while others say securing more sources of energy is the country's paramount concern and environmental risks are less important... communities are becoming dubious about the benefits of fracking vs. the risks... etc.
Almost any topic you choose that is in the news can be discussed in this way. Hope this helps!
