Dear Wyzant Team,
My name is Ronald McGuire, and I’m writing to express interest in joining Wyzant as a tutor.
As an adjunct professor, I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring mathematics at a wide range of levels, from 6th-grade students to college-level learners. I hold an M.S. in Operations Research and a B.S. in Mathematics.
In addition to math, I also tutor computer science and programming, including the following languages:
Python, C/C++, C#, Visual Basic, Visual C++, and FORTRAN (77 and 90).
I have over 40 years of programming experience and am a computer scientist for the U.S. Army, where I also lead technical training.
Could you please advise on how to become a tutor on your platform? I would love the opportunity to support students through Wyzant.
I am also a B1 Spanish speaker and musician (guitar).
