asked 03/07/25How to pay for a cancelled lesson
I had to cancel a lesson about 2 hours before the lesson start time. I'd like to make the payment for the scheduled time due to a very short cancellation. Please guide me as to how to make a payment without the tutor requesting it. Thank you.

To pay for a cancelled lesson on Wyzant without the tutor requesting it, follow these steps:
- Log in to Your Wyzant Account: Go to the Wyzant website and log in with your account credentials.
- Go to "My Lessons": Once logged in, click on your profile or the "My Lessons" section. This will show you a list of your scheduled lessons.
- Find the Cancelled Lesson: Locate the lesson that was canceled. If it was canceled within the cancellation window, it may show as "Canceled" or "Rescheduled."
- Check the Cancellation Policy: Wyzant has a cancellation policy that may require payment for lessons canceled within a certain window (often 24 hours or less). Review this to understand the terms.
- Make the Payment: If you want to proceed with the payment even though the lesson was canceled, look for an option to "Pay" or "Submit Payment" for the lesson. This option may appear next to the canceled lesson details. If not, you can try contacting Wyzant support for assistance on how to proceed with the payment for a canceled lesson.
- Contact Wyzant Support (If Needed): If you can't find the option to pay directly, contact Wyzant's support team via their website or through your account. Explain that you want to pay for the canceled lesson, and they should guide you on how to proceed.
- Communicate with the Tutor (Optional): If you feel comfortable, you can also reach out to the tutor directly via the messaging system on Wyzant to let them know you'd like to make the payment. They may also be able to assist in guiding you.
By following these steps, you can ensure that you make the payment for the canceled lesson in a respectful and transparent manner.
