Is it possible to learn to become a Dungeon Master for Dungeons and Dragons even though I have limited playing experience. I want to become a very basic Dungeon Master for my daughter, who is 5, and eventually for her friends. I am willing to pay up to $25/hour for tutoring to learn how to become a Dungeon Master.

Hello Kevin! I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since childhood, and it was an incredible and formative experience for me. With the players being so young, this is an incredible opportunity for all of you to become comfortable with the terminology and skills associated with the game together! As a DM, one of the most daunting things you will encounter is managing story beats.
I would be happy to schedule sessions for us to go over basic terms, ideas, and resources available to you as a new DM! If you are feeling good about foundational concepts, we could work on a campaign outline for you and your players to use for a short session.

Hi there! Dungeons and Dragons can be a complicated game, but at its core, you as the DM are telling a collaborative story with your players. This is something that is relatively manageable while your players are at low levels. The underlying math and storytelling is relatively easy to pick up and a good way to help kids practice concepts such as addition, subtraction, and counting. I would be happy to tutor for a few sessions to start you off as a DM!
