Hi! Here are some tips for structure/organization. You can think of your essay at 2 main levels:
1) As a whole:
It’s helpful to start with a broad outline: create headings for the most important parts of your essay, with space underneath to fill in some planned content. These main parts are your introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. For your assignment specifically, the body paragraphs will have 2 main "clusters" of content: 1- technology's role in enhancing learning outcomes and facilitating access to resources, and 2- addressing challenges such as the digital divide and privacy concerns. One way to navigate this would be:
- starting the paper with relevant examples of the first cluster- 1-2 paragraphs per example (or as much as needed for your guidelines)
- then introducing the idea that greater integration of technology into contemporary education presents challenges as well
- transitioning into your "challenges" cluster
There are also other ways to structure your body paragraphs; as you start fleshing out your essay’s main points & their evidence, you may realize that a different paragraph structure makes sense. Perhaps the 2 clusters don't need to be separated, and you'll be switching more fluidly between examples from each one.
2) The paragraph level:
To ensure a cohesive argument across the whole paper, make sure the first and last sentences of each paragraph tie in to your essay as a whole. Topic sentences transition from the previous paragraph’s idea and introduce this new paragraph’s main idea. Concluding sentences wrap up the paragraph’s content and anticipate the content of the next paragraph. In one or both of these sentences, you should be creating a concrete connection between your paper’s central thesis and the specific content of the paragraph.
I hope this helps! I find that it's always beneficial to remind myself of these core building blocks of an essay. You can contact me with any follow-up questions you may have- I’d be happy to provide more tailored advice and feedback. :)

You want to focus on a few things here:
1) Breaking Geographic Barriers: A student's distance to a school historically has dictated the quality of their education. For those in the mountains or in similarly secluded locations, the nearest school might be 50 - 100 - 200 miles away. With new technology our ability to communicate to others on the opposite side of the world at the speed of light became commonplace. If you have access to a phone line, a cellular tower, and now even a satellite, then geographic location is no longer a barrier to learning for you. Similarly, for a foreign exchange student, translation software can translate spoken language which they have a poor grasp into the individual's native language - in real-time. AMAZING!
2) Breaking Disability Barriers: Because technology can help people with significant disabilities communicate with their peers, many of these students no longer require private instruction in segregated classrooms. A multitude of disability devices, customizable and adaptable, now allows them to integrate with their peers in the traditional classroom. AI enhanced closed captioning for people with auditory disability means they can understand and interact with their teacher and other students, for example. Alternatively, the same deaf student may be eligible to have a cochlear device implanted into their skull which can encode auditory signals allowing for someone to now hear. For the blind, special braille devices actively can rearrange the formation of dots on the fly when using the internet.
3) Emergency Situations: As we all know, if things like Zoom or Microsoft Teams had never been invented, we would have been a whole lot worse off during COVID. With the advent of remote learning, kids didn't miss an entire year or two of school in the most formidable years in their young lives. For kids ages 5-8 this can be catastrophic for their personal trajectory, putting them behind their peers and missing all the social, developmental, and learning skills normally picked up at those ages. While Zoom learning is no replacement for in-person learning, the technology allowed us to continue to maintain structure and forward progress for these individuals.
As far as privacy concerns and such, contact me if you need further help. If I was in your shoes, I'd focus on the above 3 issues plus any others that you can think of.
Hope this helped spark some ideas for you!
