asked 02/05/24Question for Basketball Hoop
Please help me with this math problem. I am trying to figure out the angle in which a ball will not bounce out of a pop a shot game. The back wall and three side walls are 89 inches. The basketball hoop is 74 inches high. The front wall is 38 inches high and the shooter will shoot hoops from a distance of 90 inches towards the back wall at a speed of 19 miles per hourThe ramp is going to be made out of wood. What should the angle of the wood ramp be to keep the ball from bouncing out at any place of the game? Please give me the angle in degrees. The ball is 7 inches wide and the rim is 10 inches wide.
Thank you

There is not enough information. At what height is the ball coming off the ramp? How far away is the front wall from the ramp?
