Dennis has 12 pairs of socks in his sock drawer. Six are blue and six are black. He gets when it is still dark after a winter storm has cut the electricity to his house. How many pairs of socks must Dennis remove from his drawer so that he can sure he has at least one black pair?

I think so too. Since the number of items are 12 and the probability of finding a black pair is half of the number of the item, so he will have to draw seven times to ensure he can get it no matter what.
