Let the original statement be represented by if a, then b.
Converse: if b, then a.
Inverse: If not a, then not b.
Contrapositive: If not b, then not a.
In this example "a" is equivalent to: it is not Wednesday. "b" is equivalent to: it is sunny.
To from the inverse simply negate each of a and b.
If it IS Wednesday, then it is NOT sunny.
Converse:
If it is sunny, then it is not Wednesday.
Contrapositive:
If it is not sunny, then it is Wednesday.
