The population of the USS McCain navy ship on January 5th, 2018 is considered a fixed population. Here is how we know this:
Fixed populations are populations where the people, number of people do not necessarily change. Usually because the population has been set by a past event, making it Permanent.
On the contrary, dynamic populations are populations that are based on current trends. These can be manipulated and changed because they are current, instead of being based in the past.
Therefore, when it comes to historical events- most likely the population would fit in the “fixed population” description.
