In Seattle, during February, out of every three days the sun shines one day, and it rains one day. In three weeks, how many rainy days would you have?

Please show the answer and how to get it using pictures, words, and numbers?


Need help being able to show my son how to set this up and solve it for success.

This is a great problem!


The first thing we need to do is find the number of days in 3 weeks.


3*7 = 21 days


Then we find the number of rainy days. Since it rains every 3 days, we divide the number of days by 3.


21/3 = 7 rainy days
