You could probably sleeze by saying that ALL of these plants make an angiosperm fruit. They do!
But I think, you instructor wants you to recognize, you aren't eating the fruit when you eat the vegetable "sweet potato". You don't eat the fruit of sweet potatoes, though you may munch the (strongly flavored) vines and leaves, either raw or cooked. The seeds (in the fruit) are toxic and hallucinogenic. That's a bad combo, though I guess used for breeding purposes (for general propagation, the eyes of tuberous vegetables are used).
